Karen Kraats's new mags

During 5 months, 6 prospective fashion designers have been followed through their graduation at ArtEZ Institute for the Arts, Arnhem. At home, at the fashion department, during evaluations, talks with the 2 mentors and of course the highest goal: The 5 fashion shows during 'Arnhem Fashion 2004'. The whole process is designed within 5 unique magazines. Every magazine breathes the process of that month what is readable in the content as well as in the design. Like a cord that exceeds the border of documentation.
This series of magazines will be launched during the Fashion Biennale Arnhem 2005 from 10 - 26 June. Next to the exhibitions of Viktor & Rolf, Oscar Suleyman, People of the Labyrinths and more, we show a small exhibition where you can see the process of the students and the graphic designer.
